Men probeert aansluiting te houden bij ingrediënten waarvan men de herkomst kent. Het onderscheidende van deze brasserie restaurant is de ongedwongen bediening en de persoonlijke aandacht van de uitbaters.
Een hele enthousiaste kok die het je helemaal naar de zin wilt maken. Een hele ontspannen lunch met verrassende vis gerechten en heel goed rekening gehouden met de beperkingen op het gebied van allergieën

Geboren en getogen aan de Oosterschelde in Bergen op Zoom vind ik het leuk om de gasten in de Betuwe eens wat anders te laten eten en te laten proeven, dan de gangbare vissoorten en leuk om te lezen dat dit bij jullie ook helemaal gelukt is. Dank je Peter voor deze mooie omschrijving. Wij vinden het leuk om enerzijds met lokale producten te werken, maar Hans vind het ook leuk om met producten uit zijn geboortestreek Bergen op Zoom te werken, zowel met producten uit de Oosterschelde als met producten van de Brabantse wal.
